Georg Guntrum

Georg Guntrum is a notary in Hamburg and a partner at Notare am Alstertor since 2024. 

He advises in particular on the entire range of real estate transactions, from ordinary purchase agreements to project developments and complex portfolio transactions. He also enjoys all other notarial areas and advises, together with his team, on inheritance matters, family law and corporate law. 

Georg Guntrum studied in Hamburg, the USA (Cornell University) and England (University of Oxford) as a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes) and the Fulbright Commission, among others. Following his studies and legal traineeship, he initially worked for several years as a real estate lawyer at the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. 

Georg Guntrum was appointed notarial candidate in Hamburg in 2019. As such, he was temporarily seconded to the Hamburg Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection and was also Managing Director of the Hamburg Chamber of Notaries.
