Dr. Isabel Caralp

Isabel Caralp has been in-house legal counsel at Notare am Alstertor since 2017, where she specialises in real estate law (with a particular focus on accompanying complex property transactions).

Isabel Caralp studied law with a focus on European law at the University of Hamburg and Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg. Among other things, she spent some time at the German Consulate General in Atlanta, USA, while completing her legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg. After sitting the second state examination, Isabel Caralp went on to earn a doctorate from the University of Hamburg on a topic relating to administrative law. She also worked as a research assistant in real estate law at the law firm TaylorWessing during her time as a doctoral candidate. Ms Caralp worked as a lawyer in the Real Estate Group at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer before joining Notare am Alstertor in 2017.

Ms Caralp speaks German (native language) and is business-fluent in English and French.
