We will always inform you before we collect, process or use data regarding your visit to our website. You are free to decide what personal data we receive and for what purpose we are authorised to process and use such data. We collect statistical information, for instance regarding the number of visits to individual web pages, to be able to continuously improve our internet presence. In this context, we record the type of computer and browser used, the internet provider, date and time of access and information on the access of files in the Download section. This data, which is only intended for internal use, contains no reference to specific persons. We will not collect any data for person-related processing and use via our public website, unless you decide to enter your data voluntarily or grant your explicit consent. In the following, we would like to explain the different purposes for which such data may be collected, processed, stored or used.

Consent/voluntary provision of data
Without your explicit consent, your visit to our website will entail no automatic collection, processing or use of personal data.
End-to-end encryption is used automatically for every form that may require the entry of several types of personal data, such as name, address, etc. This procedure is supported by all standard web browsers. The respective symbol in your browser window or the display of the https protocol in use indicates that data transmission is encrypted (-> right mouse click on your browser -> properties). We recommend that you never transmit sensitive personal data without encryption. If required, you can find out which browsers support SSL by checking the internet site of your operating system manufacturer.
In our internal files, your data is protected by state-of-the-art technology (firewalls) against unauthorised third-party access. Notariat am Alstertor employees require specific authorisation, which is only granted following careful consideration, to access your data.
